Ottawa OHT-ÉSO Primary Care Network’s Lunch and Learn with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (OHI)

On June 17, 2025, the Ottawa OHT-ÉSO’s Primary Care Network hosted its first Lunch and Learn session in partnership with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (OHI). This event brought together primary care providers to explore how OHI supports cardiovascular health in the community.

During the session, representatives from the Heart Institute provided an overview of the programs and services available to community physicians and nurse practitioners. The presentation highlighted key cardiovascular programs, mobile screening program for valvular heart disease, and the Prevention and Wellness Centre.
