The Ontario Framework for Lower-Limb Preservation aims to reduce non-traumatic major lower limb amputations in Ontario. The framework is a roadmap for preventing and managing diabetic foot complications and vascular wounds. Demonstration sites were funded across Ontario to test the framework and gather results data. Ottawa has been a demonstration site since spring 2023.
